XPN’s XPoNential Music Festival
Susquehanna Bank Center, 1 Harbour Boulevard, Camden, NJ
July 20-22 (gates open at 5 on Fri. and 11:30 a.m. on Sat and Sun)
XPoNential Music Festival: Kids are welcome at this 3-day music festival. Kids’ tickets are just $5 per day. Camden Children’s Garden will host a “Kids Corner” from 11:30 to 6 on Sat. and Sun., featuring family friendly activities and exhibits, amusement rides and beautiful themed gardens. Also FREE face painting and glitter tattoos, courtesy of WXPN. Your wristband allows you unlimited access all day. All children must be accompanied by an adult. (Please note: While kid tickets are only $5 each, adults will have to pay admission into the music festival, as well. Check ticket prices here.)
Corn & Blackberry Festival
Linvilla Orchards, 137 W. Knowlton Road, Media PA
Sat. July 21, 8 a.m. (all day). Rain date: Sun, July 22
Free. All-day Corn & Blackberry Festival includes real pony rides, juggler, magician, Makin Music concert, face painting, hayrides, sweet corn and lunch from the Linvilla Grill, along with corn and blackberry picking and educational classes. (I believe the pick-your-own will cost $$, but the rest of the festival is free.)

Philadelphia Ice Cream Festival, hosted by Bassetts Ice Cream, features delicious frozen desserts from some of Philadelphia’s finest. The event also features arts and crafts for the kids, live music, games, and more.
Adventure Aquarium, Camden NJ

Shark Fest features an amazing collection of 17 shark species – 70 sharks in total – including the only Great Hammerhead Sharks on exhibit in the country. Guests who visit this summer can also enjoy our special limited-engagement exhibit, Megalodon: Largest Shark that Ever Lived, a traveling exhibit that highlights the evolution, biology and misconceptions of one of history’s most famous sharks.
