Build a Cork Bulletin Board
Home Depot stores 
Sat. Aug. 4, 9 a.m. to noon.
Free hands-on workshops designed for kids ages 5-12. All kids get to keep their craft and receive a FREE kids’ workshop apron, commemorative pin and certificate. Home Depot has teamed up with EPA’s ENERGY STAR and The Lorax. Kids will build their own cork bulletin board while learning tool safety.  Call ahead to register.

In-store events will occur EVERY DAY from July 23rd – August 26th. Attend 4 events and receive a special gift! Visit or call your local Disney Store for specific event times and details! Free. Kids ages 3 and up.

Nursing Basics for New Moms

Educators from Lamaze International will be on hand to share information and answer questions on the how-tos and benefits of breastfeeding. Free.

How to Build a Better Lunchbox
Participating Pottery Barn Kids stores (call ahead to verify)
Sat. Aug. 4, 3 p.m.
Let us inspire you with fun, easy and healthy lunch ideas for your kids. Join us to learn expert tips and recipes provided by Kate McMillan, author of The Lunch Box. Bring the kids to enjoy playing a round of Crunch a Color. Arrive early for a goodie bag full of recipes, samples and a special offer from Plum Organics. Free.

Kids Bowl Free
Sign the kids up for the Kids Bowl Free program and each week you’ll get coupons for free games at participating bowling center.

Peach Festival
Linvilla Orchards, 137 W. Knowlton Road, Media PA 
Sat. Aug. 4, 8 a.m. (all day). Rain date: Sun. Aug. 5
Free. All-day Peach Festival includes real pony rides, juggler, magician, Makin’ Music concert, face painting, hayrides and lunch from the Linvilla Grill, along with peach picking and educational classes. (I believe the pick-your-own will cost $$, but the rest of the festival is free.)
