Money-Saving Tip: Redeem your daily deal vouchers right away
This is an easy one. You know that awesome deal you scored on the latest daily deal site? Once you buy the voucher… be sure to use it right away!
Not only do you run the risk of letting it expire (as I’ve mentioned before), but you also run the risk of price creep.
Case in point: I had two vouchers for handmade jewelry that expired last night. I bought them a year ago (I know, I know. Don’t judge.) But when I visited the jewelry site itself, I noticed that prices had increased by about $10 on each item since last year, basically canceling out the savings I thought I was getting last year.
I still ended up buying something last night so I could use up my credit, but I’ll admit I considered just not using the vouchers so I wouldn’t have to pay the overage.
Have you ever run into price creep with your daily deal vouchers? Or do always redeem them immediately?

I have a voucher for Eversave that I bought last spring which I meant to use for sandals, and forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder! Maybe I’ll luck out and find sandals on clearance.
