Tip #8: Eat Out on Tuesdays
No, not every Tuesday. We don’t eat out every week, but when we *do* treat ourselves, it’s usually on Tuesday. Why? Tuesday is a notoriously slow day for restaurants. People are caught up with their mid-week routine and generally aren’t going out to eat. If your restaurant offers a special to attract customers, chances are it lands on a Tuesday. Make that to your advantage and plan for it.
What kind of deals? Kids eat free, double rewards points, you name it. Promotions vary by restaurant. Our Tuesday nights out have included Chili’s (kids eat free with coupon); Champps (kids eat free – no coupon necessary at our location); and our old favorite, Qdoba (double rewards points, which earns us free meals faster). At our local Champps, they really go all out for the kids, complete with a clown and balloon animals.
Our local Chick-Fil-A also offers Kids Eat Free nights every Tuesday.
We’re always on the lookout for new places to treat ourselves on Tuesdays. What’s your favorite restaurant and do they offer a weekly deal to attract customers?
