It’s been the scene of a blogging event or two (or three) in the past year.
But I haven’t been able to check out the famed brunch at the Azalea Restaurant yet. Yet. After seeing photos from my fellow bloggers this week, though, I’m putting it on our summer bucket list. Maybe a special Father’s Day treat? (Dads don’t nearly get the brunch-centered celebrations that moms do!)

The Sunday Brunch at the Azalea at the Omni Hotel includes one complimentary Bloody Mary or mimosa per adult. There are a wide array of dishes to select from on the buffet from smoked salmon, shrimp salad, smoked trout, white fish salad to herb crusted roasted rack of lamb, slow roasted beef tenderloin, braised veal, prime rib, or oven roasted turkey.
I tend toward the breakfast side of brunch myself, so I’m drooling over the offerings for the early birds: the menu includes an extensive breakfast station featuring Challah French Toast, waffles, roasted potatoes, bacon, and sausage, danish, muffins, croissants, bagels and assorted breads. The omelets are made to order with fresh cut vegetables.
