Kindle books
Today’s the last day to purchase any of the 100 Kindle books marked down to $3.99 or less for October.
There are some great titles on this month’s list of Kindle books:
1. The World According to Monsanto – If you’re curious about the rise of genetically modified foods (GMOs) like I am, this would be a great time to download this title. It’s a $19.99 value – and the paperback version is currently about $13.50.
2. All New Square Foot Gardening – If the title above gets you a little concerned about the current food supply, you may want to be proactive and download this title, too and start planning your backyard garden. Square Foot Garden needs just 20% the space of a traditional garden.
3. When It Happens to You by Molly Ringwald – Yes, that Molly Ringwald. This novel in stories was released in August and is getting pretty good reviews.
4. The Secret Zoo – For readers ages 9 and up, this series is based on the author’s idea as a nine-year-old, when he wondered what would happen if zoo exhibits had secret doors that allowed children to go inside . . . and the animals to come outside.
5. Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes – A book for preschoolers and up, this sweet story touches on childhood teasing and the love and support of family.
