the review

This Super Sorting Pie from Learning Resources could quickly become one of our new favorite educational games.

I love to find educational games that the whole family can play together.

This will be a great way to reinforce colors. It’s not often that educational games can also be used for open-ended imaginative play. Perfect!

I can’t stress enough how much I love when we find educational games and toys that truly engage each of our kids on such different levels.

I love how well-made and well-designed each piece is in the set. The individual pieces are made of a very high-quality plastic that’s both realistic-looking and durable.

What we love

Educational games and open-ended, imaginative play all in one.
 High-quality, softer plastic pieces.
 Wide age range.
Easy to store.

The Super Sorting Pie teaches early number skills and attributes, including colors and fruit shapes. Provides supportive visual cues, thanks to the sorting cards that slip into the bottom of the pan. Top crust becomes a bowl to conveniently hold counters. Reinforces fine motor skills when children use jumbo tweezers, featuring depressions that guide little hands into the proper pincer grip. Children are sure to sort, count and relish large servings of fruity pie fun!
