As you all know, parenthood is filled with magical moments.
One of my favorites is the moment when my kids met for the first time.
In that brief moment, my son became a big brother – a job he’s carrying out quite well more than two years later. And my daughter met her very favorite, lifelong friend.
Every time we have a tug-of-war over a toy or who gets to pick the books that night for bedtime reading, this is the moment that I recall. And remember that over all other things, they are forever friends.

Aw – I absolutely LOVE the pictures of my kids meeting for the first time! My son was so protective of his new little baby brother – what an incredible bonding moment! Those are some great contest prizes!

SO cute! I have a similar photo of my girls meeting for the first time and it always brings tears to my eyes. On days when I feel like parenthood is getting the best of me, I can always look at them and know that I did one thing completely right: gave them each their best friend.
