Thrift Store Finds
This week is the Just Between Friends Kids’ Consignment sale, which has very quickly become one of my favorite sales!
You won’t believe the size of or selection at this sale until you experience it yourself.
This is the ultimate consignment treasure hunt, friends. Except a really, really well-organized one. Bring your “A” game, thrifters. You’ve hit the big time inside these doors.
The Just Between Friends sale, which happens twice a year, is run like a well-oiled machine, thanks to two pros at the helm, a ton of well-trained volunteers and scores upon scores of consignors.
I was on the lookout for spring clothes this time around and I did not leave disappointed.
I was able to find several graphic tees for my son (see photo above) from Gap and Gymboree, for $3 to $4 each. All are in great condition.
I also splurged a little on this dressier (but still comfy) outfit for my son. The khakis are from Gymboree and are adjustable and in perfect condition. The button-down is from Hartstrings and completely adorable. I love the color combination, which is the perfect crisp look for spring! Both pieces together were only $10. That’s a steal for those brands. (Similar button-down tops from Hartstrings are listed at $42-46 right now on their site.)
Finally I just couldn’t pass up this absolutely adorable solid wood doll high chair for my daughter. I know she’ll get a lot of use out of this for the next few years and it’s so well-made that it’ll stand up to all that playtime without a problem!
I’m thrilled with the purchases I found at yesterday’s preview and am considering heading back on Saturday for their half-price sale (many items are marked an additional 50% off their tag prices on Saturday).
