Free Museum Day

Saturday, September 29, 2012 is Smithsonian Magazine‘s Free Museum Day. It’s an annual event that gets up to two people in your family into a participating museum for free. You just need to download a ticket here. Up to two people per household get in FREE when you show the ticket at the door!

Crafts for Kids

This program is back again this summer! Michaels is running a great free crafts for kids called Passport to Imagination.
Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, they’ll be offering crafts for kids from a different country. Most projects are free, with the exception of a few that require a purchase (noted below).
Crafts for kids are available between 1 and 4 p.m., or while supplies last. For ages 3 and up.

Great news, teachers! This deal is back!
Philadelphia Zoo is offering an incredible summer bonus for teachers: a Summer Break Teacher Pass to all certified/licensed preK-12 classroom teachers, principals and assistant principals who work in public, private and charter schools.
About the Philadelphia Zoo Teacher Pass
The pass is good for your individual FREE admission, Mondays through Fridays, between June 18 and Aug. 31, 2012. You can use the pass to visit the Philadelphia Zoo multiple times during this period. You must bring BOTH a valid pass and your teacher ID, union card or school district pay stub each time you visit.
Registration runs through June 30. We’ll see you at the Philadelphia Zoo this summer!
