Budget Fashion – Lee Jeans
I recently was fortunate enough to be invited to a local Lee Jeans Find Your Fit Style Party, hosted by Whitney of Mommies With Style and Melissa of All Things Chic.
Not only did I get to spend the evening with some of my favorite blogging friends, but we also got to try on new jeans! So fun!
Ever since I became a mom, it’s become increasingly more frustrating for me to find jeans that fit well. And more importantly, that fit well *and* are affordable at the same time. Because I’m not just buying jeans for me anymore. That clothing budget needs to stretch quite a bit further than it used to.
The new styles at Lee Jeans won’t just help stretch my budget, though. They offer several styles that help to tighten and smooth, while still including the ever-important stretch component. You know, so I can actually still breathe while chasing after the kids.
After hearing all about which styles would be the best fit for each body type, we had one-on-one consultations with the Lee representatives, so we truly could find our very best individual fit. I was excited to find (at least) two styles that were wonderful fits: a skinny jean and a bootcut.

With lots of input from friends, I finally chose the Perfect Fit Mila Bootcut, which includes the Shapetastic compression mesh panel to help keep everything where I want it to be. Seriously, I can’t wait to wear these out… and to the playground… and around the house… and just about everywhere else.
I do plan to pick up the skinny jean at some point soon so I have another option for a totally different look. It’s a lot easier to have a couple options at this price point, that’s for sure.
I can tell you, these are most certainly not “mom jeans” – but they *are* perfect for this mom. And I think I’ve found a new favorite go-to jean!

You know, I have heard such wonderful things about Lee Jeans, but have never owned a pair. Maybe I should go try some one?!
For me, jeans are the hardest thing to shop for! How awesome to have a consultation! I love LEE jeans and that style looks so cute!
Looks like a great event! I’ll have to check out Lee jeans.
Lee jeans are the only brand my mom wears!
Finding a great fitting jean is always tough and time consuming. I haven’t tried Lee jeans since I was in junior high school but next time I go shopping I think I’ll test drive a pair. Thanks for the great post!
