Summer is quickly coming to an end, believe it or not. Somehow August snuck up on us and school supply sales are already in full swing.
While you’re snagging all those great deals on crayons and staples, it’s also a great time to do a little deal-hunting in the clothing department. So you can roll up in the carpool lane in style.
Here are a few of my favorite pieces that will take you into fall, all on sale, of course.
Great time to stock up on these basic v-neck cotton tees from J. Crew. Regularly $26.50, they’re as low as $9.99 right now. Available in short- and long-sleeve styles, so you’ll have plenty of options when the temps start dropping.
As an aside, that’s about how my hair looks at school drop-off in the morning. And I don’t even need a professional stylist for that! 
These classic heritage chino (available in tall, regular and petite) are marked down to $24.99. Great price for a classic staple item from J. Crew!
This cotton cable sweater could easily transition to fall – and this shade of blue is so popular right now.
Throw a cardigan over this adorable swiss dot cotton dress and you have a great option for back-to-school night. The strapless dresses I have from J. Crew are my absolute favorite. They’re classic and well-made and will be with me for years to come. And this one’s less than I paid for mine at a consignment store! Right now they’re on sale for $30 (from $128). Run to grab one in your size before they disappear!
