Adventure Aquarium – Shark Fest 2012
This month we were invited to the Adventure Aquarium to scout out Shark Fest 2012 and the world’s largest shark, the Megalodon.
I can tell you, you don’t turn down an invitation like that! Not with a shark fan or two living at your house, anyway!

There are so many new interactive exhibits to check out.

More Megalodon teeth than you can shake a stick at…

Checking out one of our favorites, the shark tunnel.
And then it was back to searching for the Megalodon. Here are four Megalodon jaws – young to old. Even the smallest wasn’t so small.

And the amazing 60-foot adult Megaladon – made entirely out of metal. If ever you’ve wondered what it’s like to wander around inside the belly of the beast, here’s your chance!

We weren’t quite ready to jump in on this one yet, though: Swim with the Sharks… if you dare!

To balance out all that shark scouting, we needed to pay a visit to our old pals, the hippos. We were pretty lucky to catch them being active. A morning feeding will do that, I guess!
